Greeters

Service greeters are most often employed at medium and large high-volume dealerships, especially the ones representing a luxury brand. Greeters function as “traffic police” to help guide the high flow of customers into the appropriate areas. Typical job duties for a greeter include welcoming all level of customers with a smile, obtaining the minimum needed information from the customer and his/her vehicle (e.g.: vehicle identification number and mileage), verifying appointments and informing the appropriate service consultant of customers arrival. Often it is the greeter who will provide a friendly face, a beverage upon your customer arrival and any help to ensure customers are having a pleasant experience at the dealership.
